Four Tiers of LEED Certification in Ontario

LEED certification in Ontario is a point based approach with which building projects earn LEED points for accomplishing specific “green building’ standards. Categories are based on indoor air quality, sustainability, water efficiency, energy efficiency, and materials used. The number of points earned establishes which level of LEED Certification the project receives. LEED certification is attainable in four gradual tiers according to the following scale:
